You may have noticed that your colours look a bit different as they dry. Don't worry, they go back to the colour that you painted them as. But your painting will need a varnish for this to happen. This is a removable coating that acts as a protective barrier for your painting.
As you progress, you may find that you have a preference for different surfaces. These can get quite expensive or difficult to find the surface you want. This will allow you to create your own. It takes time, but it's also often cheaper than buying in store.
